MOSS POINT, Mississippi. -- Agents with the Mississippi Narcotic Task Force of Jackson County raided a Moss Point night club Sunday night and netted 19 arrests.

Among the arrestees: 36-year-old Christopher Brian Calhoun, who authorities say was gambling with counterfeit money.

Lt. Curtis Spiers, Mississippi task force commander, called those arrested "major players of east Jackson County." An anonymous tip from the public led Mississippi drug agents to Club Unique at 6813 Fredrick Street in Moss Point, which locals call the 30/30 Club, according to Spiers.

Club Unique had been named the Paradise Club and has been home to a host of shootings over the years, Spiers said.

"There's been a 30/30 Club in Moss Point for years," Spiers said. "They just move it from one place to the other and keep naming it that. Whereever it ends up, it's always a haven for criminal activity."

There were 8 arrests at the club in a December raid, Spiers said.

"We don't know what all kind of gambling they were doing, but, this is the second time we raided it," Spiers said. "In December, we confiscated a homemade craps table and destroyed it. This time, they said they didn't want us destroying anything so they just got a pool table and were gambling on it."

"If this club is going to continue to support illegal activity then, we'll get with the district attorney and do what the law allows us to shut it down," Spiers said.

The 6-hour sting also netted marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, Ecstasy, $4,400, a Glock .45-caliber pistol, counterfeit money and a large quantity of gambling paraphernalia, Spiers said.

Those arrested on felony charges while on probation or parole were: Andre Marcell Carter, 26, possession of crack cocaine and marijuana, gambling and resisting arrest; Tyrone Terrell Anderson, 29, gambling and possession of crack cocaine; Derrick Lamar Hurst, 30, gambling and possession of Ecstasy.

Those arrested on felony charges: Christopher Brian Calhoun, 36, gambling and possession of counterfeit money; William Author Torrey, 53, gambling and felony possession of marijuana; Eneaus Polk, 44, gambling and possession of crack cocaine.

Those arrested on misdemeanor charges of gambling while on probation or parole: Tyron Jerrod Nelson, 27, and Robert Eric Bradshaw, 50.

Those arrested on misdemeanor gambling charges: Albert Moore Thomason, 23; Anthony Tyrone Preyear, 37; Devontaye Vashun Wordlaw, 17; Allejandro Spencer Dillard, 26; Robert Marquis Bivins, 36; Charles Christopher Booker, 32; Edward Barnes, 40; Gerald Quinton Richardson, 49; Ernest Edward Burns, 29; and Deanta Vonderrick Wells, 20.
